Here is a breakdown of what you'll need for every PRACTICE and every GAME.

• Cleats or Sneakers (cleats are highly recommended, no metal cleats)
• Tall Soccer Socks (Red for games, any color for practice)
• Shin Guards UNDER Tall Soccer Socks
• Practices: Weather appropriate, comfortable clothing
• Games: Williamsport Red Jersey, Black Shorts, & Tall Red Soccer Socks (when it's cold you can layer black long clothing under your uniform. For safety, please, no hoods.)
• Soccer Ball:
  • 6U & 8U (Size 3)
  • 10U & 12U (Size 4)
  • 15U (Size 5).
  • The sizes should be noted on the ball itself when purchasing.

The Jersey is the only thing that really needs to be purchased through us. We also suggest our socks, so they all match. Everything else can be purchased from any local sports store, mass retailer, or online. 

Soccer is an all-weather sport. Always assume "game on"!

We don't cancel games simply because it's raining (or maybe even snowing!). Unless you hear from your coach, or until a cancellation is posted on social media or communicated via email. Coaches will receive communication from the RC and communicate to their teams. As long as there is no lightning, this does not change our game schedule but it does mean that the SPECTATORS may want to come prepared! Towels for the muddy kids to protect the car; umbrellas; a hot cup of coffee--come with whatever you need for the weather, but come prepared to cheer on the kids in the rain. Blankets, hats, gloves, and coats will be helpful for spectators in cold weather.

THUNDER and LIGHTNING:
According to the AYSO National  Severe Weather Play Guidelines, thunder and lightning are treated in THE EXACT SAME MANNER. Our first concern in the presence of lightning is the safety of our players and families. Should lightning be seen or thunder heard, referees will stop the game, and players, spectators and coaches are advised to immediately clear the field and seek shelter in a vehicle (under trees, pavilion and concession stand are not considered safe shelter). Games should not resume until 30 minutes have passed from the most recent recognition of either thunder or lightning. Each instance of thunder or lightning during the period of delay will result in a reset of the 30-minute period. Note that in many cases, the initial delay will result in termination of the match because another match is scheduled on the same field.
